Terms of Service

Agreement
By creating an account or using Rehearsal, you agree to these terms. If you're a student using an account or license your college set up, your college's own agreement with us governs the institutional relationship, and these terms govern your individual use of the product.
What Rehearsal is
Rehearsal is a practice platform for campus placement and career-readiness preparation — coding, aptitude, communication, interviews, and related modules — graded by actually running or evaluating what you submit, not by keyword matching. Some content is generated and evaluated by AI; some is hand-authored and checked deterministically. We aim for both to be accurate and fair, but neither an AI evaluation nor an automated grader is infallible — use your judgment, especially before a real interview or exam.
Accounts
You're responsible for keeping your account credentials secure and for activity under your account. Give us accurate information when you register (especially your identity details, if your college requires them) — access control and academic-integrity features depend on it. One person, one account; sharing logins isn't permitted, and license/device limits exist specifically to enforce this.
Plans, licenses & payment
Individual and institutional plans are described on our pricing page, which may change from time to time — the price you're actually charged is the one shown at checkout. Payments are processed by Razorpay (India) or Stripe (international); we don't store your card or bank details ourselves. Subscriptions renew as described at checkout unless cancelled. Institutional licenses are governed by the specific agreement with that institution, where one exists, in addition to these terms.
Demo/free access, where offered, is limited (for example, a single free "Real" attempt per module) — this limit exists to let you evaluate the product fairly, not as a way to use it indefinitely without a paid plan.
Acceptable use
Use Rehearsal for your own genuine practice and preparation. Don't: attempt to bypass device, attempt, or access limits; scrape or bulk-extract content; submit someone else's answers as your own in a graded ("Real") attempt; probe, disrupt, or attack the service; or use the platform to generate content unrelated to placement/interview preparation. We may suspend or terminate an account that violates this, especially where it affects other students' academic-integrity outcomes.
Content you submit
You keep ownership of what you write, say, or submit in a practice session. By submitting it, you allow us to process it (including via the third-party AI, transcription, and code-execution providers named in our Privacy Policy) for the purpose of grading it, generating feedback, and improving the product. We don't publish your submissions or sell them.
Our content
The practice questions, scenarios, exercises, grading logic, and platform itself are Rehearsal's own work (or licensed to us) and are provided for your personal practice use — not for redistribution, republishing, or building a competing product from.
Service availability
We work to keep Rehearsal available and accurate, but we don't guarantee uninterrupted access — features that depend on third-party AI, transcription, or code-execution providers can be temporarily degraded if those providers are. We'll fix what we can control as quickly as we reasonably can.
Limitation of liability
Rehearsal is a practice and preparation tool. It is not a guarantee of any interview, placement, or exam outcome. To the fullest extent the law allows, we aren't liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the platform, or from any AI-generated content or evaluation being wrong or misleading.
Termination
You can stop using Rehearsal and ask us to delete your account at any time (see our Privacy Policy for how). We may suspend or terminate access for a violation of these terms, or for non-payment on a paid plan, with notice where reasonably possible.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of India. Any dispute will be handled in the courts having jurisdiction over our place of business, unless a separate institutional agreement specifies otherwise.
Changes
We may update these terms as the product changes. We'll update the date at the top of this page; continued use after a change means you accept the updated terms.
